Admissions
Interested parents are encouraged to visit the school
and observe the classroom. Those not familiar with Montessori are encouraged
to read Montessori or Traditional Kindergarten,
by Aline D. Wolf (Parent Child Press) to help decide if Montessori fits
your child's educational needs.

Admission
Policy
Criteria of Acceptance of New Students:
1. The student's readiness of willingness to learn.
2. The parents' understanding and acceptance of our basic goals.
3. Being of the age needed to maintain a balance in age ranges.
4. Being of the sex needed to maintain a balance between number of
boys and girls in the class.
5. All children must be toilet trained.
Children's House of Galilee in not designed for children
with specific learning disabilities, emotional and or psychological
problems.
Applications will be considered in the order received.
Early applications are encouraged.
Preference will be given to members of Galilee Church
and to siblings of present or former students within the guidelines
set above.
Children's House of Galilee does not discriminate
based on race, color, sex, creed and national or ethnic origin.
All new enrollments are provisional, subject to the
student's reaction to the program during the first six weeks. In extraordinary
circumstances, parents may be asked to withdraw a child. Such a request
will be made only after the fullest opportunity for consultation and
after every effort is made to work out the concern.

Procedure
1. Submit application. Parents will be contacted upon
receipt of the application.
2. Prospective students may be interviewed by the School Director.
3. Upon acceptance, parents will be notified and first month's tuition
will be required (non-refundable).
4. Upon receipt of the first month's tuition, parents will receive a
Parents' Handbook containing school policy information.
5. Completed emergency and health forms must be on file prior to the
first day of school.

Please print and complete the application and mail
to the address listed on the form or scan the completed application
and e-mail it to our
administrative office. The Health and Emergency Data forms will be needed
for students invited to attend one of our programs.
